Xiaomi WEMAX L1668FCF: Design

Like most other Xiaomi gadgets, the new WEMAX L1668FCF 4K projector looks simple and elegant. It has similar design to other expensive Xiaomi projectors, for example, Xiaomi WeMax One Pro FMWS02C.

The new projector has a rectangle shape. It comes only in black matte color. The body is made of ABS plastic. The device has a small size – 56.8 x 47.5 x 18.3 cm. You can place the projector on a small shelf or coffee table.

Thanks to its appearance, Xiaomi WEMAX L1668FCF 4K looks harmoniously in any apartment or office.

The entire front panel is occupied by a speaker grille, which offers a cinematic sound effect. In the center we can see a large golden button to turn on the projector.

A laser for projecting an image is located on the top panel in a small recess.

The side panels are occupied by cooling grids. There are two wheels for self-focusing of the image in the corners. Also, there is USB 3.0 connector on the right side.

Of course, you can watch movies and videos in 3D, but for this you need to buy special glasses.

The new projector from Xiaomi is not noisy, because the maximum noise level is 38 dB.

To protect the eyes, the manufacturer used special infrared sensors on the front panel. Sensors are triggered when a person looks directly into the laser. If someone gets too close to the laser – it automatically turns off. This is a very useful feature, for example, if you have small children who love to look at interesting things.
