Xiaomi Mi Mix Dual Display Will Have The Second Screen On The Back!

A couple of days ago, a schematic image of the new Xiaomi Mi Mix Dual Display smartphone appeared on the network. Xiaomi has filed a patent for a new design for the upcoming smartphone.

So far, there is very little information about this mobile device. But let’s talk about those details that we already know. Apparently, a very interesting smartphone awaits us.

Xiaomi Mi Mix Dual Display: Design

As you can see in the image below, the new Xiaomi Mi Mix Dual Display will get an unusual back panel.

Firstly, we can see the main camera, which consists of four sensors. They are located in the same way as the last iPhone 11 Pro — a small square platform on which all four camera sensors are located.

It seems that the similarity with iPhone 11 Pro ends here.

Near the main camera is a small square display. The second display will be the main feature of Xiaomi Mi Mix Dual Display. Please note that the screen is the same size as the platform with cameras. It looks pretty unusual!

The display will show time, date and, most likely, notifications from apps. Why else can you use such a small screen — we do not know.

A small LED flash is installed between the main camera and the rear display.

To be honest, the back panel of Xiaomi Mi Mix Dual Display reminds us the face of some cartoon character.

As for the front panel, judging by the image, Xiaomi Mi Mix Dual Display will receive a practically bezel-less display. Only the lower and upper bezels are slightly thicker than the side ones.

There is a speaker, an ambient light sensor and an LED sensor for new notifications above the display.

Did you notice that the front camera is missing? We have several explanations for this. The first explanation is that the manufacturer decided to use in-display fingerprint reader, the second — a retractable front camera, and the third — the front camera will be completely absent.

By the way, the fingerprint scanner is also not on the rear panel. Most likely, it will be located under the screen.
