Ulefone Armor 9E First REVIEW: Endoscope? Really?

Yesterday, I published an article about Oukitel WP8 Pro. Unfortunately, I did not find any features in that smartphone. It might be a good budget rugged phone, but so far we don’t even know its price. We are waiting for the official release on September 11th.

However, today I found another interesting smartphone – Ulefone Armor 9E. Ulefone is one of the main competitors of Oukitel. These are two manufacturers of entry-level smartphones from China.

Unlike Oukitel WP8 Pro, Ulefone Armor 9E has many interesting features. Of course, its price is much higher than Oukitel phone. Most likely, Oukitel WP8 Pro will cost twice cheaper than Ulefone Armor 9E.

In any case, let’s talk about the features and specs of the new Ulefone smartphone. I think each of you can choose which of these new smartphones will suit you best. My task is to tell you about the specs and features of mobile devices and yours is to choose which of them is better for you.

Unbreakable design

Of course, the first and, perhaps, one of the main features of Ulefone Armor 9E is rugged design. The new smartphone has a shockproof case according to IP68 and IP69 standards. Also, these standards provide protection from water.

You should understand that a rugged smartphone is not suitable for everyone. As a rule, they are quite large, thick and heavy. Ulefone Armor 9E is no exception.

Full HD display

Today we are talking about a mid-range smartphone, so it has Full HD 1080p screen. Its diagonal is 6.3 inches.

So far, I can’t say anything about display quality, because in this article we’re talking about the specifications, not the hands-on review.

I think it will be useful for many of you to know that Ulefone Armor 9E has a 3.5mm audio jack, a notifications indicator, a battery indicator, a fingerprint scanner and even a special connector for an endoscope.

Endoscope support

The endoscope is a feature that the Oukitel WP8 Pro misses. I do not mean that Oukitel phone should have endoscope, but it is a feature, thanks to which the new Ulefone Armor 9E smartphone will be on hearing.

An endoscope is a small camera in a wire that can be stuck in places that are difficult to reach. Ulefone Armor 9E is a working smartphone, and the endoscope can be useful for many users.

Support for various accessories

Interestingly, the new smartphone Ulefone supports a variety of accessories, such as wheel mount, carabiner, and others.

With these accessories, you cannot worry that the smartphone will be lost in extreme situations.

Processor

Okay, let’s go back to the more familiar specifications for smartphones. Once again, Ulefone Armor 9E is not a budget phone, it costs more than $300, so it can offer good features such as Helio P90 processor.

Some people call this processor a flagship, but it is far from the real Snapdragon flagship processors.

In any case, the smartphone on Helio P90 scores about 160.000 points in AnTuTu benchmark. This performance is enough to play the newest games on smartphone.

Ulefone Armor 9E has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory with support for memory cards up to 2 TB.

Four cameras and a huge flash

I think you have already noticed that Ulefone Armor 9E has four cameras on the back. The main sensor from Samsung has a resolution of 64 MP. The second sensor is used to take wide-angle photos, and its maximum resolution is 8 MP.

The two remaining sensors have a resolution of 2 MP each.

Of course, the smartphone has a front camera and its resolution is 8 MP.

Large battery

Finally, I want to tell you about the battery. Ulefone Armor 9E has a good enough battery capacity of 6600 mAh. Yes, compared to regular smartphones, which are usually two or three times thinner than the rugged ones, 6600mAh battery sounds very impressive.

However, most rugged smartphones have 6000, 7000 and even 12000 mAh batteries.

The 6600 mAh battery is a very good capacity for smartphone, but not a record.

Is it worth buying Ulefone Armor 9E?

The new Ulefone smartphone has many interesting features, such as endoscope support. Also, the mobile device offers good performance, cameras and battery.

However, the price of Ulefone Armor 9E is $329. If you really need a rugged smartphone that is difficult to break, this is one of the best options in 2020.

A normal person does not need a shockproof smartphone, and for $329, you can find a phone with better performance and cameras.
