Ukraine has agreed with Norway for the supply of gas to the market price

It was learned that the delivery price of Norwegian gas to the border with Ukraine is within $ 340 per thousand cubic meters of gas. Given that prices in Europe vary in the range from 290 to 360 dollars, is an adequate charge. At the same time, the proposal by the Russian Federation to resume gas supplies for the winter period in the amount of 10 billion cubic meters of gas at 385 dollars, is overly ambitious. Unfortunately, at the moment it is impossible to organize a larger flow of gas from Europe, as there is no existing infrastructure, so you need to find other sources of natural gas production.

For example, the American company Chevron is now preparing to develop Olessky Square (Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk region) to begin to extract shale gas. At the same time there are some problems with the organization of production. In particular, to reduce the ease of understanding forms of taxation deputies adopted changes to the Tax Code of Ukraine, which, in fact, should encourage the production of gas.

But still there are some problems. For example, the National Regulatory Commission in the energy sector has estimated that the cost of gas is slightly above 200 dollars per thousand cubic meters. This has led to a distortion of the level of understanding of the earnings of domestic companies. The government has raised the burden on enterprises for subsoil use, which led to the freezing of projects for the development of new deposits by domestic companies.
