Simply put, a smart watches can project the functional virtual interface on the user’s wrist or even post virtual buttons on his fingers, and menu items can be scattered throughout the hand. And these examples demonstrate the work projected on a large wrist keyboard, navigation and dialer.Samsung patented interactive virtual interface for smart watches

And the most interesting, it is not just a picture. All the projected elements are interactive. And photoelectric sensors provided by a patent allow to define “key” key user. It is not limited to the projection interface technology opportunities at hand, and you can use a table, wall or other surface as a control surface.Samsung patented interactive virtual interface for smart watches

The developed technology will enable Samsung to minimize the inconvenience of using small screen smart watches, extending their interface to the desktop. And besides this the same technology can be used in VR-helmets, effectively combining the virtual reality and the world around us.Samsung patented interactive virtual interface for smart watches

However, obtaining a patent is not to say that the technology is really developed and can be implemented in the near future. And often such initiatives are only used by manufacturers for the banal theft protection ideas.
