Robots termites from Harvard University (2 videos)

A group of researchers from Harvard University have developed a self-organizing system of robots TERMES, which, by their behavior and appearance resemble termites. The devices may be formed in groups of several pieces up to several hundred or even thousands. Their goal – the construction of various objects, so the researchers suggest using TERMES to create designs with primary colonization of Mars.
