Oukitel C8 4G Review: improved smartphone with LTE support
In late September, the Chinese manufacturer Oukitel released its new smartphone – C8. It was a device with 18:9 display and very affordable price – up to $100. Yesterday, Oukitel introduced another device called Oukitel C8 4G. As you can see from the name, the device supports LTE. In addition, the hardware was updated.
Display
The new smartphone features the same 5.5-inch HD-display (1280 x 640 pixels) with the same 18:9 aspect ratio. By the way, new this ascpect ratio is very popular on smartphone market, so optimization of software for a new aspect ratio is a matter of time.
Design

The device is based on MediaTek MT6737 chipset (4 cores, 1.3 GHz frequency), while the predecessor worked on already outdated MT6580A. There is 16GB of built-in memory and 2GB RAM. They are unchanged, just like the battery – all the same 3000 mAh. Also, operating system Oukitel C8 4G is still actual Android 7.0. The latest Android 8.0 Oreo isn’t available even on flagships.
