Ninebot E-series: 5 New Electric Scooters and Mopeds 2019
Ninebot has a long history of manufacturing electric vehicles. Ninebot’s electric bikes and gyro scooters are among the most popular on the market. However, the company does not plan to stop there, so it decided to produce electric scooters and mopeds. To be precise, Ninebot has introduced five new models of electric scooters!
Yesterday there was a presentation of Ninebot E80C, E90, E100, E125 and E200P. Each of these electric scooters is different in speed, mileage and motor power. Of course, the price is also different.
I think it’s a good solution, because the users can choose the scooter to suit their needs.
In this article we will look at the main features and design of each Ninebot electric scooter. We will also find out how they differ from each other and which one you should choose.
Design Is The Same
All five new Ninebot electric scooters have absolutely the same design. In fact, they are no different from a regular scooter.
A smart 2100 lumens headlight is mounted at the front wheel. It’s smart because it lights up bright white light and changes the brightness on its own depending on the lighting around it.
Behind the seat there is another light, which glows red. Both lanterns are very bright, and they perfectly illuminate the road in front of the scooter, and also make you more visible to drivers who drive in the back.
There is a large color display in the center of the steering wheel. It shows speed, distance, time, battery level and other useful information.
Large curved rearview mirrors are on the sides of the brake handles. Beneath them you will find large physical buttons to turn on, adjust the lights, speed up, etc.
Under the seat there is a large 22-liter compartment for storing tools, helmet or any other items.
The only design feature of the Ninebot electric scooters is their colors.
By the way, you can distinguish the scooter models by the color of the body. Let’s talk about the specifications, and how the five new electric scooters differ from each other.
Specifications Are Different
As I wrote earlier, all five Ninebot electric scooters differ in motor power, battery, maximum speed and mileage. But they also have common specs.
The Ninebot electric scooters support several smart functions.
Smart Functions of Ninebot Mopeds
First, they automatically recognize certain actions, such as driving or pushing. If you, for example, push your electric scooter under the slide, it automatically turns the motor on and helps you ride up.
Thanks to its many built-in sensors, the electric scooter can be controlled with just one button. It detects when the user is behind the wheel, after which the side racks are automatically removed.
When the user stands up from the electric scooter, the side racks return to their place, blocking the wheels.
To use all functions and features, you need to download an app to your smartphone.
The new Ninebot scooters support GPS. You can track the location of your electric scooter in the app. This is very useful if you left your scooter in a large parking lot and forgot where you parked it.
Ninebot scooters have an anti-theft system. It is built into the body of the electric scooter, which means that thieves cannot steal vehicles simply by removing the anti-theft system.
Another interesting feature is the so-called “black box”. It is a special module, which records all the habits of the driver while driving. This information can be very useful during repairs or troubleshooting.
By the way, if a Ninebot electric scooter encounters any malfunction on the road, the system sends an emergency signal to the emergency contact. The contact must be specified in mobile app in advance.
The exact coordinates of the scooter location will be sent to the emergency contact.
If you do not use a Ninebot electric scooter for a long time, it will notify you in the app. You will need to charge the battery to prevent damage to it.
