IFA 2014. Nokia Lumia 830
In Berlin, Nokia has introduced a line of several smartphones Lumia, but we are interested in the older (from submitted) model – the device with a 5 ‘screen and 10-megapixel camera with optics Carl Zeiss – Nokia Lumia 830.
Nokia Lumia 830 – a smartphone, standing on the step below the company’s flagship, Lumia 930, but retained all the most important features of a top model: stainless steel and polycarbonate camera with optical stabilization, and one of the latest versions of Windows. In terms of design and size 830 is also very similar to the 930, there used similar colors and materials, and all identical: stainless steel frame, removable polycarbonate lid and protective glass Gorilla Glass.
Smartphone fits nicely in the hand, although to call it a compact, of course, impossible. The unit is large and comparable in size with the LG G3, and the difference in the diagonal screens palpable: 5 ‘to the Lumia 830 against 5.5’ in LG G3.
Build quality housing in general, satisfactory. Even ten minutes of the meeting with the staff enough to understand that the smartphone perfectly assembled.
Location keys usual, the power button, volume button and camera key are on the right side, on top of 3.5 mm and a microUSB. In Russia, the Nokia Lumia 830 in black (pictured) will appear later the other colors, and it’s a bit strange, still black smartphone classic and marketable.
Of the features include 10 megapixel camera with optics Carl Zeiss, optical stabilization and technology PureView, support wireless charging and LTE. Largely Lumia 830 – a simplified version of the flagship 93 model. Here below is the screen resolution (1280×720 1920×1080 pixels against a Lumia 930), weaker platform (Snapdragon Snapdragon 400 vs. 800), 1 GB / 16 GB to 2 GB / 32 GB in more expensive models, as well as 10-megapixel camera compared to 20 MT in Nokia Lumia 930.
The question is the price at which the Nokia Lumia 830 will put on sale. If the machine will literally 2 000-4 000 cheaper than the flagship, meaning in his choice would have absolutely no, because the Nokia Lumia 930 has the best in the whole performance at almost identical dimensions, and wiser to overpay, but buy a real flagship. If the Nokia Lumia 830 will cost at the start of about 18 000-20 000, the smartphone will be an interesting one for fans of Windows Phone, and perhaps even the only one.
