Elephone A4 REVIEW: Budget Phone with Flagship Design (only $99.99!)
Design with the notch above the display, like iPhone X, is the main trend of 2018. The market already has a huge number of different flagships with bezel-less display and notch above it.
However, not only flagship phones copy iPhone X design. If you really like design with a notch, then you don’t need to spend a lot of money, and $100 will be enough. It is the price of Elephone A4.

Elephone A4: Design
Design of new Elephone phone really reminds more expensive flagships. It looks very good for $100. However, you should not hurry up, because you should know more details about this phone before buying.
On the front panel you can see 5.85 inch HD+ display (1280×720 pixels) with 19:9 aspect ratio. We already said many times that it has a notch above the screen with earpice, front camera and other sensor.
The back panel is made of glass. It has a glossy surface, which makes it more attractive. In the upper left corner is the main camera and flashlight. In the lower left corner we see a small company logo Elephone.
From the bottom, there is USB Type-C port, and from above you can find 3.5 mm audio jack. As you can see, there is no fingerprint reader on the back or front panels. It is located on side. I think it is the best place for fingerprint reader, because it is much easy to unlock the phone when it is on table.
Elephone A4 has a metal frame. I should note the phone is not as thin as it looks on renderers. However, the manufacturer claims, the smartphone feels more compact in one hand than other budget phones from Elephone. New smartphone is available in only two colors: gold and black.
Elephone A4: Hardware
The main change in new phone comapres to previous model Elephone A3 is 3GB of RAM. This is enough for smooth multitasking. The phone is powered by quad-core Mediatek MTK6739 processor running at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz.
You can even play latest Android games, but it is better to choose low or medium graphics settings. As for the built-in memory, the smartphone received 16GB with microSD memory card support up to 128GB.
Another nice feature of this device is Face Unlock function.
Elephone A4 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system “out of the box”. There is support for LTE band, and even OTG.
Elephone A4: Battery
The smartphone is equipped with 3000mAh battery with quick charging support. It provides about 6-7 hours of battery life with always on screen.
Elephone A4: Camera
The smartphone is equipped with 5MP front camera from Samsung. The main camera has another 8MP sensor with interpolation to 13 megapixels and f/2.0 aperture. These are not the best cameras, but they are enough for decent images.
