Ecclestone offers add points on Fridays

Bernie Ecclestone and Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo will talk on enhancing the excitement for spectators. However, the meeting has been rescheduled for next Saturday – formally because of her state of health was unable to attend the head of Mercedes Motorsport Toto Wolff.

According to the Swiss newspaper Blick, the forthcoming meeting can be considered quite revolutionary proposal. On Fridays, the stands comes not so many spectators, and to increase the popularity of the free races, Bernie Ecclestone offers to add points, starting from the first day of the race weekend. The idea is simple: racer, showed the best lap time up to Friday, will receive one point in the standings.
Will this proposal is approved, and what other changes would appear in Formula 1, will be known next week. By the way, if such a rule in place since the beginning of 2014, Mercedes AMG breakaway riders in the standings would have been even more.
