Doogee BL12000 Review: 12000mAh battery – Guinness World Record

The Chinese manufacturer Doogee is known for its good budget smartphones with big batteries. One of the latest devices is Doogee BL12000. It was announced in October, but only at the end of November it will go on sale.

Doogee BL12000: Design

Doogee BL12000 is a really nice phone. It has not only full screen, but also glass back and front panels. I should note that it is equipped with 12000mAh battery, so it is not the thinnest phone. Its thickness is 14mm.

On the front panel we see 6-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. Its aspect ratio is 18:9. At the top of the screen is talking speaker, dual selfie camera, LED indicator and other sensors.

Under the screen there is nothing.

On the back panel we see another dual camera, flashlight and fingerprint reader.

BL12000 has very stylish and elegant design. It looks like rugged phone (most likely because of the thickness), but it’s a regular phone with large battery.

Doogee BL12000: Performance

As for performance, Doogee BL12000 is a good entry-level phone. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750T chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage with support for microSD memory cards.

I think, the smartphone will have about 40 thousand points in AnTuTu. It is not very high performance. It seems that manufacturer decided to pay attention to other features.

Doogee BL12000: Camera

On the other hand, Doogee BL12000 offers a very interesting combination of cameras. The smartphone has 4 cameras: dual rear and dual front.

The back panel has 16MP + 13MP camera setup with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF, while the front panel offers 16MP sensor with 88 wide angle, and 8MP sensor with 130 wide angle.

It sounds really interesting, but I want to see real sample photos to make final conlusion.

Doogee BL12000: Battery

Of course, battery is the main feature of Doogee BL12000. As you can guess from the name, the smartphone comes with 12000mAh battery. Amazing! The manufacturer says that it put two 6000mAh battery in the body of BL12000. Also it is Guinness World Record for “the biggest battery in smartphone”.

The smartphone provides about 25 hours of video playing, 23.5 hours of gaming, 90 hours of calling and 1000 hours of standby.

BL12000 supports fast charge technology 12V/3A. Full charging takes about 4 hours. By the way, the smartphone can be used as power bank for charging other gadgets. BL12000 can charge four iPhone X.

Conclusion

Doogee BL12000 is very interesting smartphone. It comes with full screen 6 inch display and Full HD+ resolution, four cameras and big 12000mAh battery. I can say that performance is not so excited, but it is enough for average user.
