Chuwi Hi10 X First REVIEW: First and Best Chuwi Tablet in2020
We have written about Chuwi products many times before. The Chinese manufacturer specializes in laptops and tablets. Their devices have good specifications and budget prices.
Chuwi decided to start the new 2020 year with presentation of Chuwi Hi10 X tablet.
Chuwi Hi10 X tablet has a thin metal case, light weight, 10.1-inch Full HD IPS display, Gemini Lake N4100 processor with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, and up to 8 hours of battery life.

Chuwi Hi10 X Has Stylish Design
The new Chuwi Hi10 X tablet has a simple but stylish design. The case is completely aluminum, which is definitely an advantage. The back panel is made in silver, while the front one is black.
Keyboard and Stylus
By the way, you can use the tablet as a laptop. To do this, you need to buy a keyboard additionally. It is also made of metal in silver color with black buttons.
You can also buy a stylus for drawing or writing by hand.
Keyboard and stylus are not supplied as standard.
Most of the front panel is 10.1-inch display. This is IPS panel with Full HD resolution, 1920 x 1200 pixels. The display is, of course, touch-screen and supports up to 10 touches.
By the way, Chuwi Hi10 X display is laminated by G + FF technology. This technology makes the screen bright, contrast and clear even in sunny weather.
The bezels around the screen are the same from all sides. The right bezel has Windows logo.
The upper bezel has a front 2MP camera. You know this is a standard resolution for front camera on tablets and laptop. Basically, the front camera is used for video calls.
On the back of the tablet, there is another 5MP camera. Of course, it is not comparable to cameras on modern smartphones, but it can be used to capture documents.
On the back panel, there is Chuwi logo and brief information about tablet.
Now let’s have a look at the side faces. On the right side there is only speaker grille, while on the left side there are all ports and connectors.
Ports and Connectors
The tablet offers TF card slot, USB Type-C 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, MicroHDMI and 3.5mm headphone port.
By the way, on the left side is another speaker. Chuwi Hi10 X tablet offers good stereo sound.
Thanks to the convenient location of the speakers, they are not closed when you take the tablet in your hands or put it on the table.
On the top you can find two physical buttons – power and volume rocker. At the bottom, there are only two small connectors for keyboard.
Chuwi Hi10 X is a compact and lightweight tablet. Its dimensions are 261 x 167 x 8.8 mm. It weighs only 522 grams.
The metal case and small size allow you to use Chuwi Hi10 X not only at home, but also in transport, cafés or outdoors. It’s very handy if you often have to work outside the home or on the road.
The tablet is also very comfortable to carry in a small bag or backpack.
Detailed Specifications of Chuwi Hi10 X
Now let’s move on to specifications. Chuwi Hi10 X is equipped with Intel Gemini Lake N4100 processor. The processor has 4 cores and 4 threads with maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz.
The company claims that the performance of the new processor is 100% higher than Atom Z8350 processor that was used in previous Chuwi tablets.
As for memory, the new tablet has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. We are sure that memory will be enough for multitasking, performing daily tasks and storing photos, videos and music.
By the way, you can increase the built-in memory with an SD card up to 128 GB.
Chuwi Hi10 X runs on the 9th generation UHD Graphics 600 GPU. It supports ULV technology, which ensures smooth operation, 4K content playback and good energy efficiency.
Chuwi Hi10 X uses dual-band 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity.
The tablet runs on Windows 10 operating system.
The Battery Is Big Surprise!
We think Chuwi Hi10 X battery will be a pleasant surprise for you. The tablet has 38Wh battery. It provides 260 hours of battery life on a single charge in standby mode, 8 hours of video playback or 6 hours of active use. This is a good result for thin and compact tablet.
By the way, thanks to PD2.0 fast charging via USB Type-C, the tablet is fully charged in just 1.5 hours.
What’s The Price of Chuwi Hi10 X?
Chuwi Hi10 X tablet is already available for pre-order at $219. The first delivery will begin on January 17.
