We have noticed that Xiaomi Amazfit Bip looks very similar to Apple Watch. If you don’t know, Amazfit BIP is the smartwatch from Xiaomi produces with its partner Huami. So, we decided to compare design and main features of Amazfit BIP and Apple Watch, and find out which should you buy in 2018.

Design
Below you can see many photos of Xiaomi Amazfit BIP and Apple Watch side-by-side. Both smartwatches have square displays, and from far away they really look very similar to each other.
The devices have some big differences in design, although they have very similar shapes (they are both square with rounded corners).
As you can see from the photos, the main differences are following:
– Apple Watch has a button and digital crown on the right side, while Xiaomi Amazfit BIP has only single button placed in the center of right side.
– Xiaomi Amazfit BIP has waterproof body, while Apple Watch can be safely immersed in water (depending on the series you have).
– Apple Watch doesn’t support GPS in any series, while Xiaomi Amazfit BIP does.
Hardware
Unfortunately, Xiaomi Amazfit BIP has some disadvantanges. In fact, the smartwatch from Xiaomi doesn’t have a microphone and a speaker. I should say that it is very useful for any notifications. Fortunately, Amazfit BIP has good vibration for incoming notifications while Apple Watch provides different types of vibration. The smartwatch from Apple is equipped with taptic engine intervenes; it is a type of vibration that simulates the pressure of a hand.
The biggest difference between these gadgets are display. Xiaomi Amazfit BIP uses technology that allows to reflect the light. It means that the larger external light than the better you will see the display. Apple Watch comes with OLED display. This display has a good viewing angles, even in direct sunlight and has really deep black colors.
Of course, you can find many other differences, but the main advantage of Xiaomi Amazfit BIP is price. This is one of the most attractive smartwatches on the market with sports functions and heart rate monitor. Also it helps to receive notifications from smartphone on the display of smartwatch.
