“Gotham”: about heroes and villains

In the series Gotham DC Comics fans will see how this city was even before it Batman. We may not show him, but in the audience had a chance to meet with a “pre-betmenovskimi” versions of Riddler, Penguin, Catwoman, as well as a dangerous woman, known as Poison Ivy. However, there is every reason to think that the characters are not on this end.

We offer you a list of seven heroes and villains, which would be fun to meet in the dark streets of Gotham. Hardly to be expected that these individuals will be the owners of some exceptional superpowers. Most likely, they will be ordinary people, just a little more savvy and trained.

1 Sandman. One of the oldest heroes of the universe DC, first appeared already in 1939. Wesley Dodds was dressed in a suit with a crime fighter as Shadow. He wore a cape, fedora and gas mask. His weapon was a special gun that fires gas, “cut down” the enemy. Sandman perfectly equipped for the harsh world of Gotham.

2 Wild cat. Was first introduced in 1942 and was a member of the Justice League of America. His real name – Ted Grant. He – the former boxing champion, dressed up in costume to fight crime. Wild cat does not possess any superhuman abilities, but is a great athlete. Such a character could easily perform in “Gotham” as a mentor of young Bruce Wayne. Recall that in the comic books, he was a mentorBatman and Black Canary.

3 Crimson Avenger. A few months before Batman first appeared in the pages of Detective, in the same edition was another character in the mask – Crimson Avenger. In fact, this DC version of the Green Hornet -shnaya of Dell Comics. Lee Travis (the real name of man in a suit of crimson color) worked in a publishing house. He, like the Hornet, was a bosom friend and assistant of Asian origin. And he, too, could become a model for Bruce Wayne.

4 Dr. Occult. One of the oldest character DC, although popular to this day. Dr. Occult appeared in 1935, three years before Superman himself. Unlike the other characters, he has some of my superhuman … occult investigator has a magic weapon called the symbol of the Seven, and Gotham could use a little magic.

5 Doctor Midnight. Appeared in 1941, something similar to Batman. Real name –Charles Maknayder. Former surgeon, lost his sight after he was wounded by a grenade thrown by one of the bandits. “Lost my sight e” – not exactly said. By day he is blind as a bat, and at night the eyes are it is no worse than before. Charlesbecomes a hero, using various gadgets like infrared points. Dr. Midnight – a tireless guardian of public order, without which the residents of Gotham have grievously.

6 Black Mask. This “young” supervillain still unavailable and 30: the first time he appeared in the comics in 1985. He – and the criminal psychopath who killed their parents and desecrated their grave. Roman Sionis (so actually the name of this horrific person) broke the cover of his father’s coffin and created one of his pieces myself a mask resembling a skull. Such a “crime boss” would be done in Gotham a lot of noise.

7 Ventriloquist. Who can be a “chudesatee” than Arnold Wesker? This ugly-looking man uses his ability to ventriloquism and puppet (his alter-ego named Scarface) to plan the crime. Arnold was born in a family of gangsters. In addition, it – crazy, and his ventriloquism – not that other, as a consequence of the disease.
