Teclast F6 Plus First REVIEW: Is This Laptop Really From 2019?

A couple of days ago, Teclast introduced its new Teclast F6 Plus laptop. Interestingly, in January 2019 we wrote about Teclast F7 Plus laptop. You can read our article about it here. But only a year later, in December 2019, the Chinese company launches Teclast F6 Plus. Why? I don’t know.

The new Teclast F6 Plus laptop has an aluminum alloy body and convertible design. In other words, the screen rotates 360 degrees, so you can use it in tablet mode.

It also features 13.3-inch touch screen display, Intel Gemini Lake N4100 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory, and 10000mAh battery.

Perhaps the most pleasant feature of Teclast F6 Plus is its price – only $319.

Teclast F6 Plus: Design

Teclast F6 Plus looks very simple and stylish. The case is made of aluminum alloy, and only the bezels around the screen are plastic. The laptop is sold only in silver color.

The main feature of the new laptop is convertible design. You can rotate the screen 360 degrees, and use the laptop in six different positions.

I think convertible design is a very useful feature for those who draw sketches and diagrams on a laptop. Now it’s even more convenient because you can use Teclast F6 Plus screen from any angle.

You can also draw on the display with a special stylus, but it is sold additionally. The package contents include laptop, charger cable and user manual.

On the top panel of laptop there is only Teclast logo. It is not centered as usual, but in the upper left corner.

When you open the lid of the laptop, you see 13.3-inch Full HD display. This is IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

As you can see, the notebook has quite thin bezels around the screen on official images.

Teclast F6 Plus has a touch screen. It supports up to 10 touches. It also boasts stunning colors and high definition. The aspect ratio is 16:9.

Above the screen, there is a microphone and a front camera with a resolution of 2MP.

Keyboard is standard of black color. Touchpad is quite large and comfortable. However, I don’t think you’ll use the touchpad often because the display is touchscreen.

Now let’s take a look at available connectors. On the right side there is a charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, USB 3.0, a TF memory card slot and a physical power button.

Yes, the power button is now on the right side, not the keyboard, as we used to see in other laptops. You can power the laptop on/off in tablet mode or other positions.

On the left side we can see USB Type-C port, Micro HDMI port, and another USB 3.0 port. As you know, Micro HDMI connector allows you to connect the laptop to projector, monitor or TV.

Teclast F6 Plus is a very compact laptop. Its dimensions are 32 x 21 x 1.8 cm. It weighs 1.6 kg. This makes it very convenient for everyday use not only at home or in the office, but also in cafés, public transport, etc.

Teclast F6 Plus: Specifications

The new Teclast F6 Plus laptop is powered by Intel Gemini Lake N4100 processor. It is a quad-core processor with a maximum speed of up to 2.4 GHz and good power efficiency.

As a rule, the processor is used in laptops of budget and mid-range price category. Yes, it cannot run heavy games, but the performance is enough for daily tasks, basic photo and video editing.

As for the graphics processor, there is Intel 9th UHD Graphics 600. Also, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory are available.

If the internal memory isn’t enough, you can use an external TF memory card up to 128 GB.

Teclast F6 Plus runs on Windows 10 Home Version. It also supports Bluetooth 4.0 and WIFI 2.4 GHz / 5.0 GHz wireless networks.

Another feature of Teclast F6 Plus is 10000mAh battery. It provides up to 9 hours of battery life in daily mode and up to 7 hours of video playback. This is a good result for a compact laptop.

Teclast F6 Plus laptop is available for pre-order for $319. Later it will cost $369.

I think Teclast F6 Plus is a good laptop for work, study and everyday tasks. It has a stylish metal case, 360 degree convertible design, 13.3-inch touch screen, many connectors and large 10000mAh battery.
