Oppo Realme 2 Pro REVIEW: It Is The Best Smartphone Under $200!
Realme is a new brand from the Chinese manufacturer Oppo. The first smartphone Oppo Realme 1 was quite popular in India. For only summer the young company sold 1 million devices, which is very good result. Also we should note that after the release of Realme 1, the sales of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro fell significantly. Now it’s clear that Realme from OPPO is competitor to Redmi series from Xiaomi.
Some days ago OPPO released new smartphone with stunning specifications and features. It comes with Snapdragon 660 chipset, 6.3-inch Full HD display and 16MP camera.

Oppo Realme 2 Pro: Performance
If you look at specifications of both smartphones, then you can notice a big improvement in performance. Oppo Realme 2 scores about 50 000 points in AnTuTu, while Oppo Realme 2 Pro has 140 000 points in AnTuTu. It is really big difference, do you agree?
Snapdragon 660 is a relatively new processor from Qualcomm, which is designed for mid-range devices. This eight-core chipset consists of one cluster: four Kryo 260 cores with a frequency of 2.2 GHz and four cores of energy-efficient Kryo 260 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz. The graphics processor is Adreno 512. Also it has LTE-modem Snapdragon X12 with download speed of 600 mbit/s.
In general, the processor is very good. It is much better than Snapdragon 450 used in Oppo Realme 2. In addition, Oppo Realme 2 Pro is available in version with 8GB of RAM.
Realme 2 Pro supports NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. The battery of new smartphone is standard. It has a capacity of 3400 mAh. The fast charging is supported. Realme 2 Pro runs on latest version of Android 8.1 with ColorOS 5.1 user interface.
Oppo Realme 2 Pro: Display
Another big difference between the previous model and Realme 2 Pro is the screen. Yes, they are almost identical in size (Pro version is 0.8 inches larger) and other specifications, but the difference is in resolution: Oppo Realme 2 Pro is FullHD+, while Oppo Realme 2 has FullView. The difference is noticeable, although IPS panel is the same.
Oppo Realme 2 Pro: Design
The new smartphone has very interesting design. Oppo Realme 2 Pro doesn’t have a “notch” above the display, and it is replaced by a “droplet” – a semicircle on the front side of the smartphone. It houses front camera along with all the necessary sensors. This solution looks fresh and practical. First, the “droplet” has not bothered anyone, and secondly, it is trite less than the rectangle introduced by Apple last year. The main material of new phone is glass. On side faces of Oppo Realme 2 Pro you can find a metal frame.
On the back of the smartphone there is dual camera and classic round fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will be available in several color options: black, gray, red, blue.
Oppo Realme 2 Pro: Camera
We have talked about display and performance, but what about camera of Realme 2 Pro. It is really interesting theme, because there is dual 16MP main sensor (f/2.0) + 5MP seconadary sensor (f/2.4). It makes very good photos.
The special attention should be paid to the front camera of Realme 2 Pro. It looks very promising because of 8-megapixel sensor with AI functions. The camera is able to blur the background of your selfies.
