Undergraduate in U.S.
Undergraduate understood in the United States as a broad education with significant humanitarian component. This means that in addition to your chosen profession you will study a wide range of subjects, including social sciences, humanities, languages and science.
In the U.S. bachelor’s degree programs are organized is very flexible, allowing students to plan their learning. Typically, a bachelor’s degree is awarded after four years of study. Thus the student must receive a certain amount of credits – from 130 to 180. For each course or module has to a certain number of credit hours – usually three or four.
Undergraduate programs are organized as follows: mandatory basic courses, determined at the discretion of the institution and typically including humanities, social sciences and mathematics. Basic bachelor’s degree (major) you get the discipline, which accounts for 25 – 50% of all your courses. Your additional specialization (minor) – the second largest concentration of modules. It usually involves half the credits required for the master’s degree. And finally, the elective courses – you can pass them to any department, and they you get credit points required for the assignment of a bachelor’s degree.
Admission Requirements

Foreigners who enter the university must have completed secondary education, corresponding to 12-year education in American schools.
• English Language
You will also need to submit evidence of TOEFL (Test “English as a Foreign Language”). Some universities accept the results of alternative tests – for example, IELTS. Before serving, find out the opening statement at your chosen university, the results of any tests on English they take.
• Other standard tests
Some universities require other tests – basically, SAT I (“test of academic ability I”), SAT tests for individual subjects (SAT II) and ACT (“Tests for American colleges”). It tests with a choice of several answers, and they are used to assess the skills students entering bachelor. Read at your chosen school, whether they use such tests – and which ones.

Procedure for admission to Bachelor
Admission to Bachelor in America -long process that should begin in 12-18 months before the start of training. During this time, you can decide you’re interested institutions and pass all the required tests. Selecting more suitable you universities, start applying an introductory statement.
Each school receiving their sentences opening statements – usually take them in January-March, but this period may be extended or moved in one direction or another. Good advice – File application as early as possible.
Documents shall be submitted directly to the institution and, as a rule, include:
• The completed form introductory statement
• Proof of payment of commission for consideration of an introductory statement
• Evidence of previous education, academic transcripts
• Evidence of the results of tests (TOEFL, SAT I, SAT II)
• A personal statement in which you must clearly outline your academic achievements and goals
• Letters of recommendation – usually from a teacher or employer who can tell about your achievements and potential
• Some universities require documentary evidence that you are able to pay for their education in baccalaureate
When classes begin in September, a letter of acceptance to the proposal (if it is) you get to the middle of April.
