New SSD Plextor M6S Plus is available in various sizes
The company which most known for its excellent CD and DVD recorders and threw herself into the production of other types of devices to computers, SSDs. We present briefly the new SSD Plextor M6S Plus series.
To begin with we will say that new SSD Plextor M6S Plus series uses Toshiba 15nm Toggle MLC NAND flash memory, as well as Marvell 88SS9188 controllers. They are very thin, only 7 millimeters, and the standard dimensions of 2.5 inches, and have a standard 7-pin SATA connectors for data traffic, and the 15-pin SATA power connector (DC 5V).
The new SSDs are working on SATA 6 GB / s interface. One of the most important characteristics of all drives is their speed of reading and writing.
The new SSD Plextor M6S Plus Series SSD boasts these speeds:
- Up to 520 MB/s Sequential Read
- Up to 440 MB/s Sequential Write
- Up to 94K IOPS 4KB Random Read
- Up to 80K IOPS 4KB Random Write
The new SSD drives come with a host of new and exclusive technologies such as PlexCompressor smart data compression, PlexTurbo intelligent SSD RAM cache (cache), and TrueSpeed and TrueProtect mechanisms for error checking.
Let us also mention that Plextor M6S plus SSD drives come in three sizes – 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. So far is not disclosed. The company does know never newsletters as cheap as before quality.
