LG introduced Watch Urbane – the world’s first smart watch with Android Wear and LTE

LG Electronics has announced a bonus of “smart” watches LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition. According to the manufacturer, this is the first gadget platform Android Wear, which supports 3G and 4G LTE without connecting to a smartphone.

In general, the device can be described as a modification of the LG Watch Urbane LTE, in which instead of webOS-based proprietary software Wearable Platform OS used by the operating system from Google. Housing LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition is also made of stainless steel, but the new straps are non-standard mount. By the way, they are made of an elastic material TPSiV hypoallergenic and available in four color options.

“Smart” gadget is equipped with a 1.38-inch display with a resolution round 480×480 pixels and a pixel density of 348 ppi. Smooth operation interface provides Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset 400 with 1.2 GHz and 768 MB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of up to 4 GB of data. Full battery capacity of 570 mAh is enough for at least one full day without recharging.

By simply pressing the crown, users can activate or deactivate time display in standby mode, the side buttons provide quick access to frequently used functions. Some smartphones supported weather animation on the screen lock, and now this “feature” appeared in smart watches. On the back of the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition is the heart rate sensor, a special mention deserves a built-in GPS-receiver.
